Description
Great for light-duty work. With their 2,500 lb. pull rating, Ramsey's Badger series winches are a great solution for applications that don't need a huge amount of pulling power. They feature a powerful 0.9 HP, 12 V, permanent-magnet motor that draws a lot less current than the competition's. It, in turn, powers a proven 3-stage planetary gear set with 50 percent greater gear contact area than other winches, which translates into superior strength and durability. Other standard features include an automatic load-holding brake and a large-knob, cam-action clutch for free-spooling. In addition, the cable is anchored to the drum for maximum safety and pulling distance.
